This is how Hazel deals with the heat – nap in front of the fan!

I pulled into Connie’s drive and took this picture of her side yard – gorgeous, isn’t it?

Wish I had lots of news but alas, I do not.  Keep cool!

Hazel is certainly not ashamed to take advantage of a way to keep cool. And, yes, Connie’s yard is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.

Maybe Hazel needs a little kids pool?

CountryThreads June 11, 2017 at 5:31 pm

Rose – she has one!

Soo cute. I too like Hazel’s way of keeping cool.

Hazel is one smart baby🐶🐶. Connie’s garden is beautiful. I hope it’s not too hot for her plants. It will be hot in Central Ohio next week and we need rain!

CountryThreads June 11, 2017 at 5:30 pm

Diane – we are so dry, too!

Mary, don’t forget, a picture is worth a thousand words.
Between Hazel and Connie’s gardens, there’s no need to say any more.

31 frosty degrees here in the Idaho panhandle this Sunday morning. Back to fireplace and sweat pants. Was sunny all day, but we had the fireplace going all day. Made progress unpacking quilts and hung June Bertie calendar block. Suppose to rain Monday and Tuesday before warming up a bit. The Salmon river is swift and flooding some low areas. Saw a group of elk this morning and deer at the mineral block. The pesky little squirrel was on the upper deck, too.
Hazel has the right idea about cooling off.
Connie’s garden is beautiful.

Laura – I love hearing about your life in the forest/mountains! So much wildlife!

No news is good news!

I am close to the Idaho panhandle and we too are a little chilly. High of 62 but 42 last nite. Still quilting weather which I love. Heat brings fear of forest fires which I don’t love. Hazel and I think the same of heat!

Heat has hit here in Ohio.

Wind, rain, thunderstorms and hail. So much hail that plows were out clearing the streets! Yesterday was 90 and today we are shoveling hail, don’t you just love the variety of outdoor adventures in Minnesota?!?!?

Hazel is so cute! I’ve been waiting for you to give us a garden tour from Connie’ s garden this year! Last gear it was so interesting to see it laid out.

So glad to see your blog. I was worried either you were sick or my computer was doing something really strange. It is now dividing my emails which I don’t understand but I guess all is okay. Here in PA it’s been sunny (for a change) and hot which is ok with me after so many overcast rainy days. Hope the kittens are all ok. Has mama left them on their own now. Wonder when you will know what sex the new chicks are.
