The Purse Quilt

by CountryThreads on May 17, 2017

Diane M. was the lucky buyer of this purse quilt and she sent this picture.

She added a sleeve and displays the quilt with her mom’s old purses.  Such a cute idea!

This morning all the kittens were asleep inside the carrier and Mom was sleeping outside on her own.

It’s a rainy day in North Iowa – a good binding day.

Hazel explores everywhere.

Becky stopped yesterday to get a Hazel “fix”.

Hazel is adorable with Becky and the quilt back drop. Do you have to wash her legs often? Her feet are always so white.

I am sooo happy for you on the kitten update–
and one day Momma just might let you pet her too–as she see’s how gentle you are with her babies–
so she may make someone a nice pet yet–
and I am happy for the little chick too–
enjoy the moments, di

I”m with Becky; I like my Hazel “fix” everyday, too. Thanks for posting my purse quilt; I do love it:) Mama Cat must feel safe to leave the babies inside the carrier even though I know it’s close by. Good for her.

I love seeing pictures of Hazel. She is so adorable. I too would love the name of the quilt hanging behind Becky. Hugs

Good news about the kittens and mama. Hope the progress continues with them. It’s fun to see the purse quilt with the old purses. Great way to display them. I see why she wanted that quilt.

Love the quilts! What wonderful inspiration. Has Miss Hazel started her Obedience classes yet? Thanks for the kitten update. It’s just a matter of time before Mama shows she trust you.

Snow started yesterday late afternoon here…Idaho!!! Could hear the hiway snowplow during the night. No snow on our driveway nor road, but it has been snowing 🌨 off n on lightly all day. Snow is hanging on the trees. Saw two 🦌 deer walking down the driveway.
What a wonderful idea to hang purses 👛 with the quilt.
The barn kittens are so tiny and cute. Hazel is growing!!

Hi Mary,
What is the name of the flower quilt behind Becky’s photo on May 17th? Where can I get the pattern?
Thanks for all your e-mails. Without them, I would have nothing worthwhile in my inbox! I love all the quilt ideas and books to read.
Happy Gardening!
Karen
